Quran 6.x-6.0 is out!

It was long ago I committed for version 6.x-5.0. Actually it's too long. Alhamdulillah since I have my own time now and I've given power and passion by Allah, I'm glad to announce that a new release has come out.

The fixes

  • Arabic text is changed to traditional font
  • Fixing macro feature for comment
  • Macro rendering is now based on node language (not current language like used to be)
  • Better title for playlist in main tab

And the features

  • Ayat separator is surrounded by CSS class for easy styling
  • Surround all Arabic text with css class
  • Added macro information for user

Expressing programming hobby in opensource is really good I think. Because, there I can create best softwares other than at home. More over, it is a way to implement by motto "Learn, Understand then, Implement. Else, nothing's changed!".

Keep brainstorming brothers to make the module better!

You don't have to change the database, just remove the old module (5) and extract the new module. Leave the tables as they are.

Somali Quran translation

Asalamu alaykum, i found somali quran transalation from Zikir project but i dont know how use Perl script. There is no instructions on how to do it. the download is available here. http://tanzil.net/trans/so.abduh.trans.zip
Coud you please either add to your translation list or let me know how to use the perl scriopt. The perl script does not have reame instruction.

To do this You can change zip-sources/en.zip with a real zip file from Zekr project. Once it's done, you can to this ./proc-quran en mysql. To change MySQL database settings please edit lib/mysql.pl. I hope it works
