Ubuntu

I've just installed Kubuntu 10.04 LTS 64 on a BenQ notebook. Everything seems going smooth except... the Fn keys for adjusting the brightness. They're just not working! I wonder why BenQ official or community sites never tell about fixing this. I guess, less users of this BenQ product use Ubuntu :D

To be precise, the title should be: How to install Alfresco 3 Community Edition in Kubuntu 9.10 64-bit with Java 6 and Tomcat 6

Because that the environment which prove the Alfresco to run smoothly. So this are the steps:

I usually play multimedia files which need sounds. But sometime a crashed multimedia application can cause the audio device not released properly. The effects vary, from repeating annoying sounds to no sound at all. If this happens, I usually restart the PC as restarting Alsa is not working.

Karena gak sabaran pingin mencoba KDE ala Karmic Koala, gw akhirnya menginstall versi betanya di USB. Beberapa perubahan terlihat di sini. Mungkin lebih jelasnya bisa dilihat di https://wiki.kubuntu.org/KarmicKoala/Beta/Kubuntu. Jadi gw cuman sharing apa yang gw rasakan aja. Karena udah banyak review lainnya. Mumpung masih di Live USB-nya :D
